Rules for Patients:
1. Enter through the main lobby from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. At other hours, enter through the Emergency Department at the south end of the building.

2. For security reasons, visitors are not permitted in the waiting areas after 7:00 p.m.

3. Adults and children with infectious illnesses, or who've recently been exposed to an infectious disease, should not visit patients.

4. All visitors are required to behave in a courteous manner. Any visitor who exhibits threatening or abusive behavior, or who uses profane language, will be asked to leave the hospital. Noisy or disruptive children may also be asked to leave.

5. Visitors may eat their meals in the patient rooms; however, all items, including wrappers and leftovers, must be removed.

6. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and should visit for no longer than 30 minutes.

7. All adults accompanying children should observe and be aware when the hospital environment is upsetting or frightening to a child.

8. The MCMD is a smoke- and drug-free facility. Smoking is discouraged within 75 feet of the building.

9. Cell phones may only be used in the main lobby. Staff phones only work within the hospital and do not interfere with patient monitoring equipment.

10. Pets are not allowed, except for guide dogs and certified therapy dogs.

11. As required by regulatory agencies, the hospital routinely participates in fire drills.
An alarm will sound and doors may be closed. In the event of an actual emergency, the hospital staff will guide you to a safe area.

Rules for Doctors:
1. Any purposfull deaths will get you FIRED, and ARRESTED FOR MURDER.

2. Make sure your phone is DEACTIVAED while in the ward.

3. All abuseing/patiental neglagance SHALL BE REPORTED to the Head Doctor.

Rules for Nurses: ((Most just cool sounding and I wont be visting in the morning.))
1. All patients must be at their beds during the morning and evening visits of the Surgeon.

2. No baggage allowed in the ward.

3. No one is to loiter on another bed, each person being accountable for the neatness of his own.

4. No smoking allowed in the wards or stair-cases.

5. Cleanliness being an object of consistent solicitude, patients are required to contribute to this end in every possible way. Spittoons are provided for each bed.

6. Patients are not to leave the premises nor loiter about the Hospital without special permission from the wards Surgeon.

7. Any one leaving the Hospital without permission shall be reported as a Deserter.

8. The nurse will have all clipboards separately labeled with name, degree of injury, regiment and company, all clothes to be washed, indicating the number of bed.

9. The nurse will see that the ward and stair case be swept at least three times daily, attending also to general cleanliness of the apartment.

10. Any negligence on the part of the nurses or employees must be reported to the Surgeon in charge.

11. The nurse will, at all times, see to the comfort of the sick, and strictly carry out the directions of the Surgeons.

12. Every nurse shall be held responsible by the Surgeon in charge for the condition of his ward, its bedding and furniture.

13. The nurse must make duplicate accounts of all articles for the laundry, one to go to the linen-room, the other for the laundress.

14. All patients recommended to be furloughed or discharged must be examined by the Surgeon in Charge.[b][u]
